ISB Organized Eye Screening Camps for Transgender, Sex Worker and Gypsy

Institute of Social Business (ISB) organized eye screening camps on 12-14 November, 2018 in Patuakhali for transgender, sex worker and Gypsy (Bede) including their surrounding community. Through these camps 1056 people got services. Out of them 450 target people got spectacles with free of cost. It was the first initiative of development sector in Bangladesh to work with these segment of the community especially transgender, sex worker and Gypsy (Bede) on eye care issue. The Fred Hollows Foundation provided fund to organize these events.
