ISB Initiated Orientation Session on Eye Health Care for 8000 RMG Workers

Institute of Social Business (ISB) has initiated orientation session on eye health care for 8000 RMG workers of Gazipur and Chittagong with financial support of The Fred Hollows Foundation (Australian NGO). Under this initiative, the first session was held on 21 July, 2016 at Maccoy Sweaters Ltd., Gazipur. The objectives of the orientation sessions are:

To enhance the awareness and capacity of the participants on  Eye Care Issues;

To understand the participants about preventive measures of eye diseases;

To increase inclusion in eye health services.

The session was inaugurated by General Manager, Maccoy Sweaters Ltd. Md. Tarifur Rahman Khan, Chief Executive Officer, Institute of Social Business (ISB); Mohammad Khorshid Alam, Chief Operating Officer, Institute of Social Business (ISB); Nafiz Mahmud Ayon, Project Officer, The Fred Hollows Foundation and others were present there.
