Institute of Social Business (ISB) organized a session entitled “Orientation Data Collection Techniques & Quality Management” on 21 October, 2016. Total 40 Data Enumerators and 7 supervisors participated in the session. This session was organized under ISB’s research project named “Citizens’ Report Card (CRC) Study on Primary Education 2016” which is funded by UKaid through Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE).

The major topics of the session were:

Realities and Practices of Primary Education in Bangladesh
Citizens’ Report Card: Concept and Process
Sampling of the Study
Roles and responsibilities of Data Enumerators and Supervisors
Orientation with data collection tools
Effective Data Collection Techniques
Data quality controlling and data management
Research Ethics

 

The session was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Manzoor Ahmed, Professor Emeritus
BRAC University and Vice Chairperson, Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE). Prof. M Nazmul Haq – Institute of Education and Research (IER), University of Dhaka (DU) & Senior Consultant of Institute of Social Business (ISB); Md. Tarifur Rahman Khan, Chief Executive Officer, Institute of Social Business (ISB); Mohammad Khorshid Alam, Chief Operating Officer, Institute of Social Business (ISB); Dr. Mostafizur Rahman – Programme Manager, CAMPE and others were present there.
